According to A.T. Kearney “Global Services Location Index, 2016” Poland moves into top 10 thanks to a strong improvement in compensation costs, despite slight declines in scores for regulatory costs and for Information Technology and Business Process Outsourcing experience. Accordiong to Poland’s Association of Business Service Leaders, the business services sector is on track to reach 170,000 emploees by the end of 2015. Many of the largest offshoring operations are based not only in capital city Warsaw, but also in Krakow, Wroclaw, Katowice and Lodz. The presence of multiple centers for the industry gives Poland a considerable edge over smaller competitors in Central and Eastern Europe. The large number of Poles who have worked overseas, learned the languages as well as the culture, and returned to Poland is another advantage.
